Replacement CAS unit
There are many reasons why your CAS unit may be faulty, Sometimes like any electrical component they may just break, sometimes it’s due to coding or programming without the correct voltage, sometimes data maybe lost whilst trying to program or code something into the vehicle.
What is a CAS unit?
Car access system is part of BMW immobilizer system and stores all the keys and key data, without a working CAS unit you will not be able to start the vehicle. The CAS generates a unique code between the keys, ecu to be able to fire the engine.
